About twice a day my next door neighbors go outside and yell for their cat. His name is Lionel, and apparently he’s quite the rascal. I didn’t know cats came when called (but after asking this question on Facebook and receiving a resounding “some cats do!” I stand corrected) but they certainly seem to think he will.

For whatever reason, they named the cat Lionel. Lionel.

Every time they yell his name, I’m tempted to go to the window and sing, “Hello…is it me you’re looking for?” [Imagine that to the tune of classic Lionel Ritchie song “Hello”]. Of course I will most likely not ever do this, but wouldn’t it be funny?
