I have been cooking some new and interesting things, but food is so hard to photograph. I tried to capture Monday’s dinner of oven-fried chicken, gruyere macaroni and cheese, and a salad of sprouts, leeks and beets with a peanut line vinaigrette but my phone died and I lost the pictures. I know it’s not as fun without pictures so even though this isn’t very pretty, here is tonight’s: sautéed spinach, roasted celery root purée, and prosciutto-wrapped chicken with fresh rolls.

Also a dessert from last week: bananas foster minis.
