Josh and Korey

On Sunday I turned 29. For the first time I am facing an age that feels uncomfortable. Not that I am unhappy with my life at this point, because I’m not. In fact, my life is amazing. I love it so much. I have moments where I have to stop and pinch myself; it’s so hard to believe that this is real–the house, the marriage, the cute cute toddler I spend my days with, my job…it’s so much better than I ever imagined. But dang, I don’t feel old enough to be leaving my twenties. Will I ever feel my age again?

I hope not.

I celebrated with family over tacos on the Friday before, then headed up to Big bear for races and family time. Linda made the delicious s’more waffles that she made for me last year, and the night ended with margaritas and Mexican food.

I’ve been using my birthday gift from josh for a while now…I got a new camera! I have upgraded from my Digital Rebel Ti to a Canon 7D and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll spare you the details of why I love it, as they are photo-centric and technical, but it’s amazing. I shot both recent graduation shoots with it and I just love the results.

So that was my 29th birthday.
Any advice for my last year as a twenty-something?
