OOOOHHHHH delicious woven wrap! My ring sling FINALLY arrived! It was stuck in customs for weeks, so sad. Isn’t it purrrrty? It was converted by Jan at Sleeping Baby Productions and I just love it. Love it!! YAY!! We have done both front and back carries today, although my back carry was a little wonky. 
I know the first day back after a holiday can be depressing, so I bring you a moment of zen: watch this short clip of Jacob sleeping and your day will be calm and peaceful. Repeat as necessary. 🙂

Sunset over the toll road
I’ve been so busy lately! Between chasing my little bug, cleaning (and cleaning) the house and especially the floors, washing diapers, running errands, going to playdates, and visiting/helping my Mime’ as she recovers from a knee replacement surgery, it feels like I never have a free moment. Sorry for the lack of baby pictures! I have some writing planned, do keep checking back!!
Jacob and I traveled to Palm Springs earlier this month with my mom, my mime’, my aunt Kere’ and cousin Charlotte. We has a great time although the temperature reached 122!
To celebrate your surviving the week, here are two very short clips of Jacob.
The first is a small sample of his “creeping.” You can see how fast he can go when he is determined, and he didn’t have far to go in this clip (plus he’s on slippery wood floor – you should see him on carpet!)
This second one is him in the jumper, and his little feet just crack me up! I should take another video because he can really get going in that thing.
