Last weekend, Josh and I traveled to Prescott (pronounced Pres-kit), Arizona for the Whiskey Off-Road race. It’s a famously hot endurance event, and Josh signed up for the 50-miler. With a group of his teammates, we rented a house through VRBO and it was awesome. I would definitely stay there again, even though it was definitely not “walking distance” to town and the road to the house was very scary and perilous.
We made some roadside stops: the first was to see a Bolo Tie Museum in Wickenburg, but the museum had no bolo ties.
But Josh made a friend, and Wickenburg was delightful anyway.
And now Prescott, on a beautiful, 75 degree day.
There were some majorly authentic Westerners in the Palace. Apparently it’s a hub for old west re-enactors?Â
Great shots of the buildings & fun to see it through your lens.
Looking forward to part 2 & K-Shaw!
