Josh has done very well at a crazy race called Vision Quest in the past; his last race found him finishing in eighth place overall, making him the first non-professional rider to finish that year. This spring he competed in a slightly shorter manifestation called Counting Coup, and of course he did great. Despite being in the middle of a move, working a ton, and having two small children, he came in second place! Also, it rained right at the start, bogging the riders down in thick, sticky mud. Just the fact that he stuck it out was a feat in itself.
